Why the caregIVR?

The burden on informal caregivers can be significant, and they often experience high levels of stress and burnout.
The project aims to harness the power of Immersive Virtual Reality to create realistic and interactive training simulations for caregivers, enabling them to develop and refine their skills in a safe and controlled environment. By simulating real-world caregiving scenarios, CaregIVR helps caregivers practice responses to complex situations and understanding the perspective of post-stroke patients, ultimately increasing their ability to protect their own health while providing compassionate and effective care.

About Us

CaregIVR project aims to empower informal caregivers and vulnerable people, increasing their literacy on cardiovascular diseases and promoting the development of skills in the provision of care to post-stroke patients, through Immersive Virtual Reality.
Likewise, the prevention of associated cardiovascular and cerebrovascular complications and promotion of a healthy lifestyle in this population are a major goal.
