BREATH – A European partnership for collaboration and innovation to promote physical activity in patients with chronic respiratory diseases
Chronic respiratory diseases (CRDs) are becoming increasingly prevalent and are the leading causes of health problems and death worldwide. In line with this, the BREATH project aims to promote physical activity and long-term rehabilitation for patients with chronic respiratory conditions by improving the skills of university students studying physiotherapy/physical activity/sport/nursing (who need to acquire the professional skills required by today’s patients with chronic respiratory conditions) and physiotherapy/physical activity/sport/nursing professionals.
